Similarly as Siem Reap tours, following are half and full-day tour segments available to combine in Phnom Penh, from 1 night/2 days to 4 nights/5 days, ideal being minimum 2 nights/3 days to visit most of the key sites within the city and in vicinity.

 

Half-day Phnom Penh city tours and full-day out of town tours:

 

1. Half-day Phnom Penh City Tour - visit National Museum of Khmer Arts, Silver Pagoda, River Front Park, Wat Phnom and last enjoy a boat cruise on the Mekong River.

2. Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide Crime and Cheung Ek Killing Fields.

3. Phnom Penh City Hall, National Library, National Bank, Independence Monument and shopping at the New Central Market.

4. Silver Pagoda, National Museum of Khmer Arts, Royal Pavilion.

5. Full-day tour to the former Khmer capital of Ou Dong - en route stop at Phnom Praset, the 8th century pre-Angkor temple; admire statue of the reclining Buddha, enjoy fine view of the surrounding plains from the hilltop temple. In the afternoon visit the various temples and the three large stupas housing the ashes of three former kings. Visit the Vihear Preah Ath Roes, the Vihara of 18 Cubit Buddha; return to Phnom Penh.

6. Half-day tour to Tonle Bati & 12th and 13th century temples of Ta Prohm and Yeav Peau. Enjoy a walk along the lake, visit a silk weaving village, then proceed to the 10th century Prasat Neang Khmao, the temple of Black Virgin.

 

7. Full-day tour to Tonle Bati & Chisor Mountain. As on the tour above first stop at the Taprohm temple and Prasat Neang Khmao, finally arriving at Phnom Chisor. Climb the 100-metre hill to enjoy fine view of the surrounding plains, and admire the 11th century Brahman temple atop.

8. Sunset cruise on the Mekong River (1 hour)
Enjoy boat cruise along the river past floating houses and riverside villages.

Combine Phnom Penh with Siem Reap tours:

Sample 6 days/5 nights itinerary that can be customized - please refer to the list of half-day sites listed under each respective city.

 

Day 1: Arrive in Phnom Penh in the morning. Afternoon half-day City Tour - National Museum of Khmer Arts, Silver Pagoda, River Front Park and Wat Phnom.

Day 2: Visit Toul Sleng Genocide Museum and Cheung Ek Killing field. After lunch tour Phnom Penh City Hall, National Library, National Bank and the Independence Monument. Last we'll take you go shopping at Central Market.

Day 3: Fly to Siem Reap and take a boat trip on Tonle Sap. Later on tour the Chantiers Ecole of traditional of art and crafts. Finish the day with a visit to Siem Reap Market.

Day 4: South Gate of Angkor Thom and Angkor Wat.
Sunset at Phnom Bakheng Hill.

Day 5: Continue sightseeing or go shopping at Siem Reap markets. When due catch a flight to your next destination.

 

Combine Phnom Penh with Suhanoukville, Kep and the beach tours:

 

Sihanoukville and Kbal Chhay Waterfall

 

Day 1: Arrival and Phnom Penh City tour

Day 2: Phnom Penh City tour.


Day 3: Overland excursion to Sihanoukville. Check in at your hotel, go swimming / rest of the day at your own leisure.

Day 4:
Kbal Chhay waterfall – Phnom Penh
Morning tour Sihanoukville, after lunch visit Kbal-Chhay water fall and return to Phnom Penh.

Day 5: Depart Cambodia



Escape to Kep and Teuk Chhou River

Day 1: Private transfer to Kep. On the way stop at Kampot, a scenic coastal area that during French era was known as Kep-sur-Mer, a favorite holiday destination, today the leading producer of salt and pepper in Cambodia.

Day 2: Drive to Teuk Chhou river for a refreshing swim and a taste of seasonal fruits, namely Durian. Late afternoon return to Phnom Penh.
