Cape Town to Kruger National Park tour itinerary
Experience the best of South
Africa, start from Cape Town, follow the Garden
Route to Port Elizabeth, then turn inland to Johannesburg and
finally arrive at premier Kruger National Park. We can run
the tour as your own private tour or join a shared tour
departing on Tuesdays.
DAY 1 - CAPE TOWN - OUDTSHOORN
Travel along the Garden Route to Oudtshoorn, visit ostrich
farm, overnight in Oudtshoorn.
DAY 2 - OUDTSHOORN
Tour limestone caverns of the Cango
Caves, Ostrich Farm and the Cango Wildlife Ranch.
DAY 3 - OUDTSHOORN - KNYSNA
Continue past the cliffs of Victoria Bay to George, on to
pictoresque Knysna.
DAY 4 - KNYSNA
Take a cruise to Featherbed Nature
Reserve, ride to top of Western Head, and walk back
through Milkwood trees.
DAY 5 - KNYSNA - TSITSIKAMMA
Skirt the Plettenberg Bay, one of the most scenic parts of of the
Garden Route. Marvel at the highest single span arch bridge
of Bloukrans, and admire the dare devils who leap off it on
world's highest Bungee Jump. Visit Tsitsikamma National Park and Storms River
Mouth.
DAY 6 - TSITSIKAMMA- PORT ELIZABETH
Travel via Tsitsikamma NP and Jeffreys Bay to Port
Elizabeth.
DAY 7 - PORT ELIZABETH - JOHANNESBURG
Fly to Johannesburg and rest or join an optional
Johannesburg half day tour..
DAY 8 - JOHANNESBURG - KRUGER PARK
Drive via Nelspruit, White River, Hazyview and Mpumalanga
to Kruger National
Park. In the afternoon take a safari tour.
DAY 9 - KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Follow the breathtaking Panorama
Route, including Bourke's Luck Potholes, the gateway to the Blyde
River Canyon, God's Window and Lisbon waterfall.
DAY 10 - KRUGER PARK
Take another open vehicle game drive in the Kruger National
Park.
DAY 11 - KRUGER PARK - JOHANNESBURG
Early morning take yet another open vehicle game drive in the
park. return to lodge for breakfast, then depart for Johannesburg
following the historic Long Tom Pass route.
