8 DAYS / 7 NIGHTS

This tour features Panama's most beautiful islands in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans. First you spend a day on Taboga in the Pacific, where you can hike to the island’s lookout and former US bunker, explore the small town, or simply relax on the beach. Then you fly to the Kuna archipelago of San Blas, where you'll stay in a rustic lodge and learn about the Kunas’ fascinating culture. Last you travel to the Bocas del Toro islands in the Caribbean to snorkel reefs teeming with fish and sample the Caribbean culture of Bocas town, one of Panama’s top tourist destinations.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival Panama

Arrival at Panama City International Airport where you will be met by our representative and taken to the hotel of your choice in the city.

Day 2: Pacific Beach Tour

After breakfast, our guide will take you to enjoy one of the Pacific beaches of Panama, you will enjoy the white sandy beaches in a local ambience with local people.  Lunch in a typical restaurant  Return in the afternoon. Night at hotel in the city. (BL)

Days 3-4: San Blas Islands (2 nights)

Early morning departure to the domestic airport for a 20-minute flight to El Porvenir Island in San Blas. Transfer by motorized dugout canoe to the San Blas Hotel on the island of Nalunega. This rustic but charming hotel is run by the Kuna community and has capacity for 24 guests. Fresh water showers and toilets outside the rooms. Visit beaches on nearby islands and the Kuna community to learn about their culture and traditions.  (BLD)

Day 5: Panama City

Early morning return to Panama City. Optional tours include: City & Canal tour, rainforest hikes, Monkey Island in Gatun Lake, folkloric dinner and dance show, etc. Overnight stay at hotel in the city.

DAY 6: Bocas del Toro

Transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Bocas del Toro on the Caribbean side of Panama, where you will enjoy Afro-Panamanian culture. Free day for town exploration.  Night at hotel in Bocas. (B)

DAY 7: Bocas del Toro/Panama

Fly back to Panama City in the afternoon and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Overnight stay at hotel in the city. (B)

DAY 8: Departure

After breakfast transfer to the international airport for your departing flight. (B)
