Arrival in Panama City. Meet and greet at the
airport and transfer to the hotel Country Inn &
Suites, Amador or similar.
DAY 2: SOBERANIA NATIONAL PARK/GAMBOA RAINFOREST
RESORT
Your rental car will be delivered to your hotel in
the morning. You’ll receive a map and the route of
the itinerary will be explained to you. Your
excursion begins with a drive through the Soberania
National Park in Gamboa where you can observe the
rainforest, birds and plants. Arrive at the Gamboa
Rainforest Resort where you can take a tour of one
of the nature trails, explore the forest with the
aerial tram or kayak the Gatun lake. (B)
DAY 3: GAMBOA RAINFOREST RESORT
Drive to the Pipeline road, the best birding trail
of the area at Soberania National Park. This park
forms an ecological corridor connecting the
Soberania and Metropolitan National Parks. You will
hike the trails of both parks for nature
observation.
Night and meals at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. (B)
DAY 4: PORTOBELO/ISLA GRANDE/BANANAS VILLAGE
RESORT
Drive across the Isthmus of Panama to the Caribbean
side. Stop at Portobelo, where you can observe
Spanish colonial ruins and fortifications raided by
pirates such as Drake, who died and got a sea-burial
in the bay. Short visit to the village and the Black
Christ at the Church, to learn the legend and the
many miracles attributed to him. Head to the coastal
town of La Guaira, where you will find facilities to
park your vehicle. A yellow boat will take you to
Isla Grande, where you can dive, snorkel and kayak.
Night and dinner at Bananas Village Resort. (B, L or

DAY 5: ISLA GRANDE / BANANAS VILLAGE
Discover this fascinating Island at your leisure.
Take boats excursions (already included) and go
snorkeling in the coral reefs. Enjoy the beach,
kayaking, and swimming or relax on the crystal
waters of the Caribbean.
Night and dinner at Bananas Village Resort. (B, L or
D)
DAY 6: COCLE / POSADA DEL CERO LA VIEJA
Drive to the Pacific side of Panama and head to La
Posada del Cerro La Vieja, located on the biodiverse
MesoAmerican Corridor, joining the two mountainous
area of Escaliche and Anton Valley. La Posada is
also part of an ecological project in Central
America for the protection of wild life. Night at La
Posada del Cerro La Vieja. (BLD)
DAY 7: POSADA DEL CERRO LA VIEJA
Hike through gorgeous and unusual mountain scenery
or relax and enjoy nature while bathing in a pool at
the foot of a 90-foot waterfall. (BLD)
DAY 8: PANAMA CITY
On your way back to Panama City stop at the Pacific
beach for a relaxing swim. Return your vehicle at
your hotel in the city. (B)
DAY 9: DEPARTURE from PANAMA CITY
Your host will meet you and assist you with your
transfer to the airport for your flight home.
Arrival to Panama City where one of our
representatives will welcome you and escort you to
your hotel. You will receive a map with the route
and itinerary.
DAY 2: CHIRIQUI HIGHLANDS/VILLA MARITA
Early morning transfer by airplane to David in the
western province of Chiriqui. You’ll receive your
rental car at the airport in David. Drive to the
picturesque mountain town of Boquete. Enjoy the
panoramic view of the afternoon in the beautiful
Chiriqui highlands. Arrive at Villa Marita or
Panamonte. Optional visit to a private flower garden
and coffee roasting facility.
Overnight at Villa Marita Lodge or Panamonte. (B)
DAY 3: BOQUETE/VILLA MARITA
After breakfast, explore the different trails around
the Baru Volcano National Park. At an elevation of
7,500 feet, you will have an opportunity to see the
elusive resplendent quetzal in its cool habitat of
orchids and bromeliads. Lunch is optional.
Overnight and dinner at Villa Marita in Boquete. (B)
DAY 4: CERRO PUNTA/LOS QUETZALES
After breakfast, drive to the west side of the
volcano, Cerro Punta, and explore the different
trails of The Friendship Park for birding or hiking.
This park is shared with Costa Rica and was
recognized in 1982 as a Biosphere Reserve and UNESCO
World Heritage Site. Lunch is optional. Night at
Hotel Los Quetzales. (B)
DAY 5: CERRO PUNTA/LOS QUETZALES
Enjoy and discover this fascinating area at your
leisure. Live life on the mountains; “run a river”,
ride a horse, mountain bike or just relax with
nature and observe the culture of the Guadalupe
village and Volcan. (B)
DAY 6: PANAMA
Drive back to David Local Airport, where you will
drop off the rental car before taking your flight
back to Panama City. Upon arrival at airport in
Panama city, private transfer will take you to your
hotel. (B)
DAY 7: DEPARTURE PANAMA CITY
Our representative will meet you and assist you with
your transfer to the airport for your flight back
home.
