Day 1: Guatemala
City
Arrival at the Guatemala City
airport. Transfer to your hotel.
Overnight in Guatemala City.
Day
2: Guatemala City – Antigua
Transfer to Antigua, the earlier
colonial capital of Central America, founded in 1543. We will visit the
Main Square, the Cathedral and
other buildings and colonial sites.
Overnight.
Day 3: Antigua –
Chichi – Lake Atitlan - Guatemala
Departure to the highlands to visit
Chichi. Tour through the open-air
market (only Thursdays & Sundays),
where colorful handicrafts of the
region are for sale. Enter the
400-year-old church of Santo Tomás,
where catholic and pagan rites take
place in a mystical atmosphere. We
continue to Lake Atitlan,
Panajachel and Guatemala city.
Overnight in Guatemala.
Day 4: Ciudad de
Guatemala - EL SALVADOR.
Breakfast. Transfer to El Salvador
Border and continue to San Salvador
city. Lodging In San Salvador.
Day 05 SAN
SALVADOR-SUCHITOTO-SAN SALVADOR
Breakfast. Departure to visit
the capital of El Salvador, tour of
the city. Continue to Suchitoto,
a colonial city located 44
kilometers from the capital,
a pictoresque town with wonderful
views of the Suchitlan Lake.
Lunch. Afternoon return to
San Salvador and lodging.
DAY
06. SAN SALVADOR-JOYAS DE CEREN-SAN
ANDRES-SAN SALVADOR
Breakfast. Visit one of the most
important pre-Columbian settlements,
Joys de Ceren, which was
buried under the ashes of volcano Caldera's eruption about 1400
years ago; tour adobe of the period,
with kitchens, ceramics of mud which
contain petrified beans, obsidian
and jade knifes, a UNESCO World
Heritage site. Next visit the San Andres ruins
and the picturesque lake Coatepeque.
Lunch and afternoon return to
San Salvador and lodging.
DAY 07 SAN
SALVADOR- (NICARAGUA)
Breakfast. Departure to the Airport
for your flight to Managua,
Nicaragua.
Transfer to selected Hotel in
Managua; city tour:
visit the old cathedral, National
Palace of Culture, National Museum,
Ruben Dario National Theatre, Xolotlan or
Lake Managua and the
archaeological museum Huellas de
Acahualinca. Lodging.
DAY 08: MANAGUA-
GRANADA-ISLETAS
Transfer to Granada. Boat of Lake Cocibolca (or Nicaragua
Lake ), past some its 356 small islands
that that form natural canals of
great beauty. A walk thru
the Historic centre of Granada.
Overnight in Granada.

09 MOMBACHO
VOLCANO-CATARINA-GRANADA
Today visit the Mombacho National Park,
then the town of Catarina with the
stunning panorama of Laguna Apoyo.
Overnight in Granada.
DAY 10: Free day
in Granada. Lodging.
DAY 11. GRANADA-PEÑAS
BLANCAS BORDER-MONTEVERDE (COSTA
RICA)
Breakfast. Departure to Costa Rica
border, passing the shores of
Lake Cocibolca with great views of the volcanoes Concepcion and
Maderas on Ometepe Island. Enter
Costa Rica and continue to
Montverde, an important
cloud forest biological reserve. Lodging.
In the afternoon a specialized guide
will take us to observe some of the
300 species of migratory birds
residing in the region. Dinner and
lodging.
DAY 12 MONTEVERDE-SAN
JOSE
Breakfast. Free at your own leisure
to take a canopy tour or go
horseback riding. After
lunch we will continue our trip
arriving at San José, capital of
Costa Rica, where we will lodge.
DAY 13 SAN JOSE
Breakfast. Depart for a city tour
- the
National Theater, the Jade
Museum (houses interesting
pre-Columbian objects as well as
contemporary art works), the Metallic Building, the National Assembly, the Supreme
Court, the Justice Tribunals, finishing our trip with a
visit to the handicrafts market.
Afternoon free.
DAY
14 SAN JOSE-VOLCAN
POAS-GRECIA-SARCHI-SAN JOSE
Tour to
the Volcano Poas National Park, then
on to the traditional towns of Grecian and Sarchi. You
will visit the old metallic church
of Grecia, visit the
most important handicrafts centers
in Costa Rica. Return to San Jose
and lodging.
DAY 15 SAN
JOSE-PANAMA
Breakfast. Transfer to the
airport for your flight to Panama.
Reception and transfer to your hotel.
DAY 16 Panamá
City tour and Canal
Breakfast. Depart from your hotel to
visit Panama Viejo, the first city
founded on the isthmus by the
Spanish at the beginning of
colonization. The remaining ruins
are the vestiges of the city left by
Pirate Henry Morgan, who sacked the
town in 1671. Visit to the Panama
Canal, one of the 20th century's
most important engineering feats. At
the Miraflores Locks you will also
have the opportunity to observe the
locks functioning as giant cargo
ships are raised and lowered. View the Canal from the
scenic Amador Causeway.
Day
17 Panamá
Breakfast. Free day for shopping or
optional excursions.
Day 18: Return
Breakfast. Transfer to Airport for
departure.
