Northwest Argentina, 8 nights, 9 days
DAY 01
Private transfer from your Hotel in Buenos Aires, to the
Jorge Newbery domestic airport for your flight to Salta. Transfer to Solar de la Plaza Hotel, and lodging. In
the afternoon city tour.
DAY 02
Free day to visit this wonderful city. The Hispanic
appearance of Salta stands out among the rest of the
Argentinean cities. Framed by mountains, Salta's urban design is
characterized by one-storey houses, narrow streets and path
walks.
DAY 03
In the morning your guide will pick you up in a Land Rover
and you'll drive south on a spectacular ride through the “Quebrada de las Conchas”,
the Shells Ravine, lined by striking sculptures of the wind.
Arrive in Cafayate belt of vineyards. Lodging at a wonderful vineyard Bodega La Rosa.
DAY 04
Early morning excursion ride to the Quilmes
Ruins, or enjoy your stay in Cafayate. Then start on a trip
of the ancient sun-baked towns and villages on the way to Colome,
where you'll lodge at a luxury boutique hotel in a vineyard.
DAY 05
At your own leisure in Colome, our guide at your disposal for whatever you want.
DAY 06
After breakfast continue to Cachi and witness of the Great Cuesta
del Obispo (Bishop Slope). In the afternoon continue to Fincal El Manantial del Milagro,
dinner and overnight.
DAY 07
The next destination is the famous Humahuaca Ravine, named
Natural Heritage Site by UNESCO. You will stay at El Manantial
del Silencio in Purmamarca, a small town down the Cerro
Siete Colores (Hill of Seven Colors.)
DAY 08
Full day excursion to visit the Humahuaca Ravine in depth. Your will
visit Tilcara, Humahuaca, Uquia and much more. Lodging at Manantial del Silencio.
DAY 09
Transfer to Jujuy Airport and flight back to Buenos Aires.
Depart Argentina, or continue on another tour.
