DAY 01
Private transfer from your Hotel in Buenos Aires, to the
Jorge Newbery domestic airport, flight to Posadas. Arrival
to Posadas, the capital of Misiones province. Private
transfer to Santa Ines Ranch, This property belongs to Nunez
Family. Staying at Estancia Santa Ines makes you feel part
of the history of the region. Registered in the official
records was the fact that this property was the first place
where yerba mate (green tea) was cultivated in an open
field. In the past, when the Jesuits owned the land, the
yerba was cultivated under the protection of the jungle
trees, but then a Spanish immigrant, stubborn and
perseverant, had the plants grow in the an open surface of
1200 Has. Ana María Nuñez does not exaggerate when she says
this colonial house of English style has “magic” in the air.
In the huge dining room, by the fireplace and guarded by
Remington fusils, a harquebus, a scimitar is the war spear
of Don Angel Acuña, the hero of the Triple Alliance War.
Arrival at Santa Ines and Lodging. Visit to the green tea
fields.
DAY 02
Breakfast at the ranch and private transfer to Iguazu; on
the way visit the San Ignacio Jesuit Ruins, UNESCO word
heritage monument.
Next visit the Wanda stone field. Arrival to Iguazu and
lodging at the Sheraton Hotel, located inside the national
park, just steps away from the beginning of the park paths.
DAY 03
Full day to visit the falls. In the afternoon, Jungle
Explorer excursion, with up close vies of the falls from the
river.
DAY 04
At your own leisure at the hotel, or visit the Brazilian
side of the falls, or continue visiting this great park.
Helicopter tours on request.
DAY 05
Transfer to Puesto Tigre by car; the Argentinean Iguazú
National Park, understanding the rainforest tour. Arrival at
La Blanquita Bay, located at the shore of the Iguazú river.
Navigation in motor-boats through these waters for about 45
minutes up to Yacutinga Port. Upon arrival jeep transfer
through the Yacutinga Wildlife Nature Reserve to the Lodge.
Check in and briefing about the Lodge and activities
available. Welcome dinner and overnight.
DAY 06
Early breakfast and short hike to the San Francisco river,
then peaceful boat ride on the gentle and quiet waters,
ideal for photo safari, possibility to observe wild fauna.
Return to the Lodge. Lunch. Afternoon escorted wildlife
excursions on forest trails, early evening visit one of the
observation towers. Return to the Lodge for dinner and
overnight
DAY 07
Breakfast and relax at the pool area or self guided tours at
the hanging "cat-walk " and "orchid's trail". Transfer back
to Puesto Tigre (Argentina), arriving at 13:30 hrs.
Lunch-box. Transfer to the airport to take the flight back
to Buenos Aires. Arrival and transfer to your hotel or
departure home.
