Honeymoon Romance and Adventure in Argentina

Honeymoon in Argentina with Mare Australis Cruise, 16 nights, 17 Days

Day 1 – Buenos Aires
· Upon arrival, you will be escorted to your comfortable boutique hotel.
· Rest of day at leisure to start enjoying the city.

Day 2 – Buenos Aires
· Our private half day City Tour will provide you a general view of the city and its attractions. During about three hours you will be able to visit Retiro, Palermo, 9th of July Avenue, Downtown, Puerto Madero, San Telmo, Recoleta and La Boca.
· In the evening, we invite you to have a delicious dinner in our best selected tango house where you will be offered a spectacular performance of the local dancing.

Day 3 – Buenos Aires / Ushuaia
· At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Ushuaia.
· Upon arrival, you will be taken to your comfortable selected hotel.

Day 4 – Mare Australis Cruise: departure from Ushuaia
· From 9am to 4pm, passengers check in at 245 San Martin St, Ushuaia.
· From 5pm to 6pm: boarding "Mare Australis" expedition cruise ship. The crew, headed by the Captain, will welcome you aboard for cocktails with your cruise companions. Immediately afterward, the ship will set sail for “the uttermost part of the earth.” Through the mythical Strait of Magellan, we will travel to Southern Patagonia, including Tierra de Fuego. This is the beginning of a Great Adventure!

Day 5 – Mare Australis Cruise
· We will sail through the Beagle and Murray Channels to disembark in Cape Horn National Park. Cape Horn, a sheer, almost 425-meter-high promontory, where the Atlantic and Pacific Ocean merge, was discovered in 1616 by the Dutch commercial expedition organized by Isaac Le Maire. The Cape owes its name to the Port of Hoorn, the expedition’s departure point.
· In the afternoon we will disembark in historical Wulaia Bay, once the site of one of the region’s largest native settlements. This area is also renowned for the spectacular beauty of its vegetation and geography. We will walk through a Magellanic forest filled with Lengas, Coigües, Canelos, ferns and other species to reach a look-out point.

Day 6 – Mare Australis Cruise
· We will disembark in Chico Inlet for a zodiac boat approach to Piloto and Nena glaciers, providing us with a closer look at these awe-inspiring masses of ancient ice.

Day 7 – Mare Australis Cruise: arrival to Punta Arenas
· Early in the morning, we will disembark on Magdalena Island, the home of an immense colony of more than 120,000 Magellanic Penguins that we will be able to observe during our walk to the Lighthouse that guides different ships on their way through the Strait of Magellan.
· After our visit, we will return to Punta Arenas, where we will disembark at 11:30 a.m., concluding our adventure.
· After disembark, you will be taken to your comfortable hotel in Puerto Natales where you will spend the night.

Day 8 – Puerto Natales / Torres del Paine
· After an early breakfast, you will leave in a full day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park. The tour will leave you at the selected hotel.

Day 9 – Torres del Paine
· Day at leisure to enjoy any of the available treks in the area.

Day 10 – Torres del Paine / El Calafate
· At appropriate time, you will board your bus to El Calafate.
· Upon arrival, you will be taken to your hotel.

Day 11 – Perito Moreno Glacier
· After an early breakfast, you will leave in a private full day excursion to Perito Moreno Glacier. Return to the hotel in the evening.

Day 12 – El Calafate / Buenos Aires
· At appropriate time, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires.
· Upon arrival, you will be taken to the hotel.

Day 13 – Buenos Aires / Puerto Iguazu
· At appropriate time, you will be taken to the domestic airport to take your flight to Puerto Iguazu.
· Upon arrival, you will be taken to the Sheraton Iguazu Hotel, located inside the National Park, with views to the falls.

Day 14 – Iguazu National Park: Argentine Side
· Day at leisure to enjoy discover the magical Iguazu Falls on your own.
· The footbridges are located just about ten minutes walk distance from the hotel.

Day 15 – Iguazu National Park / Buenos Aires
· Morning at leisure to enjoy the wonders of the Park or take an optional excursion to the Brazilian side of the falls.
· At appropriate time in the afternoon, you will be transferred to the airport to take your flight to Buenos Aires.
· Upon arrival, you will be taken to the hotel.

Day 16 – Buenos Aires
· Day at leisure to enjoy any of the available Optional Tours.

Day 17 – Buenos Aires
· At appropriate time, you will be taken to the international airport to take your flight back home.
