The Camel Camp is located
near Osian Village, in the semi-arid region of the Thar
Desert. The Camel Camp is part of the Safari Club that
was started by Reggie Singh, Grandson of Maharaj Ratan
Singh a Royal Polo Player of the erstwhile state of
Jodhpur. The Club started with offering Safaris into the
desert around Jodhpur, till Reggie’s love for adventure,
lured him towards the camping business and thus was born
the Camel Camp at Osian. He bought the highest Sand
dunes in Osian and set up The Camel Camp, the first and
only one of it’s kind. , The camp is beautifully
furnished and has a splendid swimming pool.
This ancient village of Osian is the gateway to the Thar
desert and is legendary for it's mesmerizing 6th / 8th
century temples, sand-dunes and diversity of Rajasthani
