COP1: COPAN TOUR (Half
Day with Lunch)
DESCRIPTION: Guests are picked up from the airstrip or from
their hotel at 9am and transferred to the
Archaeology site at Copan. Here they enjoy a guided tour of
this beautiful site which is famous for its intricately
carved stelea and amazing hieroglyphic stairway as well as
its comprehensive museum. When ready guests
return to the town of Copan to enjoy lunch in a local
restaurant and time to explore this pretty town before being
transferred back to their hotel or to the airstrip.

COP1B: VIP COPAN TOUR WITH
ARCHAEOLOGIST DAVID SEDAT GUIDING & LUNCH
AT HACIENDA SAN LUCAS
DESCRIPTION: Guests are picked up from the airstrip or from
their hotel at 9am and met by the famous Copan
Archaeologist David Sedat. David has been the Field Director
& head archaeologist for the Pennsylvania
Museum's Copan Program for 16years and before that at
Quirigua in Guatemala. You will transfer to the Copan
site where you guided tour of this beautiful site which is
famous for its intricately carved stelea and amazing
hieroglyphic stairway as well as its comprehensive museum
and we also include on this tour the entrances to
the famous tunnels. When ready guests return to the town of
Copan and up to the fabulous Hacienda San Lucas
where lunch is included for you and David so that you can
continue your discussions before transferring back to
your hotel or to the airstrip.

COP2: COPAN TOUR & BIRD PARK
(Full Day with Lunch)
DESCRIPTION: Guests are picked up from the airstrip or from
their hotel at 9am and transferred to the
Archaeology site at Copan. Here they enjoy a guided tour of
this beautiful site which is famous for its intricately
carved stelea and amazing hieroglyphic stairway as well as
its comprehensive museum. When ready guests
return to Copan and to the Bird Park for lunch. After lunch
guests enjoy a walk in the lush, shady river valley
location of the Copan Bird Park where they get a local guide
to accompany them and see and interact with a
number of beautiful tropical birds that have been rescued
from locales all over Honduras. A24 When ready
guests are transferred back to their hotel or to the
airstrip.

COP3: BIRD PARK (Half
Day with Lunch)
Guests are picked up from their hotel and transferred to the
Copan Bird Park just outside of town. Here they
enjoy lunch & a walk in the lush, shady river valley
location of the Copan Bird Park where they get a local guide
to accompany them and see and interact with a number of
beautiful tropical birds that have been rescued from
locales all over Honduras. Remember to take your swimsuit
for a relaxing bathe in their river swimming hole.
When ready guests are transferred back to their hotel or to
the airstrip.
COPAN BUTTERFLY PARK:

COP4: COPAN & LOS SAPOS
TOUR (Full Day)
DESCRIPTION: Guests are picked up from the airstrip or from
their hotel and transferred to the Archaeology site
at Copan. Here they enjoy a guided tour of this beautiful
site which is famous for its intricately carved stelea and
amazing hieroglyphic stairway as well as its comprehensive
museum. When ready guests return to the town of
Copan and continue up into the hills to the wonderful
Hacienda San Lucas. Here guests enjoy a sumptuous
lunch and time to relax before hiking out behind the
hacienda to visit the tiny yet interesting site at Los Sapos
- a
famous fertility site. When guests are ready they are
transferred back to their hotel. (We recommend hanging on
at Hacienda San Lucas for sunset drinks & dinner as well!)

COP5: HORSES, COFFEE, CARDAMOM &
HOT SPRINGS (Full Day)
DESCRIPTION: You will be met at your hotel reception at 9am
by your private guide Carlos to begin your full
day excursion out to the Farm or "Finca El Cisne". Carlos's
family owns the farm and he will take guests on a
tranquil horseback ride through the farmlands and beautiful
scenery of the Copan Valley followed by a hearty
farmhouse lunch cooked by Carlos's mother where you can
taste the coffee grown here. In the afternoon guests
explore the coffee and cardamom plantations and learn about
cattle ranching. On the way back to Copan this
wonderful tour finishes with a dip in the hot springs.

COP6: PRIVATE MEDICINAL PLANT TRAIL
& BOTANICAL EXPERIMENTATION SITE
DESCRIPTION: You will be met at your hotel reception at 9am
by your private guide - the renowned
archaeologist David Sedat. From here you can either ride
horses or take an adventuresome 4 wheel drive tour
up to David's nearby hilltop botanical experimental station
that has views of all the Copan Valley . There, David
will both introduce you to the many fascinating properties
of medicinal plants used by the Maya, as well as
demonstrate the new alternative crops that show great
promise for reforesting and renewing the local landscape.
Learn about David's plans to help the community & the Copan
Valley environment with such alternative crops as
Noni, Neem, and Macadamia. Enjoy a refreshing herb tea and
snack before returning to Copan. This is a unique
and fascinating trip for anyone interested in botany,
medicinal plants & environmental issues.

COP7: PRIVATE COFFEE PLANTATION &

DESCRIPTION: You will be met at your hotel reception at 9am
by your private guide for a 4x4 transfer out of
Copan and up into the stunning hills of the Copan Valley to
the private Miramundo Coffee Farm. Enjoy guided
hikes around the coffee plantations (great for bird
watching) and see the coffee processing plant (more action
in
the harvest months of Nov - April) whilst you learn about
the coffee process. After your visit sip coffee at the
house whilst enjoying stunning views across the Copan
Valley. When ready guests return to Copan and to the
Bird Park for lunch. After lunch guests enjoy a walk in the

traditional dinner & wine cooked by David's wife at their
