Thu Day 1 – 7 as per Highland Markets


Thu Day 8, S. Andres Xecul & Toto Cultural Program (B)
This morning visit the famous yellow church in the town of San Andres Xecul on market day when locals come from all the neighboring villages to sell their wares and buy for the week. Then onto Totonicapan for a traditional lunch with music and dance entertainment in traditional costumes and a visit to their cultural program to visit local artisans.


Fri Day 9, San Francisco Market (B)
Transferring even deeper into the northern highlands guests will drive deep into the Cuchumatances mountains today. On the way they will visit the famous market of San Francsico El Alto thought to be the largest open air market in Central America. Also enjoy its fascinating animal market. This night is spent in the Cuchumatanes mountains at the remote and beautiful ranch of Unicornio Azul. Unicornio Azul 2N.


Sat Day 10, Todos Santos & Market (B)
This morning guests transfer down to the fascinating town of
Todos Santos to see their hugely colourful market and see all the local people dressed in their bright, local dress. A sight to behold indeed. When ready guests return to their ranch where they can enjoy an afternoon of horse riding – beginners welcome.


Sun Day 11, Aguacatan & Market (B)
Transferring back to Antigua today, guests can stop on the way to visit the beautiful yet seldom visited, teeming market at Aguacatan. People from all the surrounding villages congregate in this crossroads town to do business on this main market day. When ready guests them transfer back to Antigua. Antigua 1N.


Mon Day 12, Antigua Relaxation (B)
After a jam packed itinerary of exploration and adventure guests can enjoy a relaxing day in this beautiful colonial town. In the evening transfer on to on to Guatemala City Airport in time to catch the early evening flight to Flores & transfer to your hotel. Tikal Area 1N.


Tue Day 13, Tikal (B,L)
Today guests explore the amazing Mayan Temple site at Tikal where huge Mayan temples rise above the jungle canopy and monkeys and tropical birds are abundant in the surrounding rainforest. After lunch guests will fly back to Guatemala City and transfer to their hotel. Guate City 1N


Wed Day 14, Transfer Out (B)
Transfer to the airport for international flight onwards.
