This tour brings you the very same itinerary as the previous itinerary but instead of flying in between Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, you travel in style by the five star sleeper train.

Itinerary:

                       

Day 1:

Cairo - arrive and transfer to hotel.

 

Day 2:

Cairo - in the morning visit Memphis and Sakkara. In the afternoon visit the pyramids and Sphinx. Overnight in Cairo

 

Day 3:

Cairo - in the morning visit the Egyptian Museum and Old Cairo. In the afternoon visit the Citadel, mosques and bazaars. Then transfer to railway station for Cairo/Aswan.  Depart 1900 hours by sleeper train; dinner on train.

 

Day 4:

Aswan - arrive at 1000 hours and transfer to hotel.  Visit High Dam and Philae Temple. Felucca sail along the Nile and visit to the Botanical Gardens.

 

Day 5:

Aswan - morning optional excursion to Abu Simbel. In the afternoon travel by train to Luxor. Transfer to hotel.

 

Day 6:

Luxor - in the morning visit the Valley of the Kings and Queens.  In the afternoon visit the Luxor Temple.

 

Day 7:

Luxor/Cairo - in the morning visit Karnak Temples.  Early evening transfer to train station for departure to Cairo at 1930 hours. Eat dinner on the train, sleeper reserved.

 

Day 8:

Eat breakfast on the train.  Arrive in Cairo at 0640 hours.  Transfer to hotel. Rest of day at your own leisure.

 

Day 9:

Cairo - transfer to airport for departure.
