Cesky Krumlov
A
medieval town in the meds of the beautiful South
Bohemian countryside, called Pearl of Bohemia, which
preserved the atmosphere of the Middle ages. The
historical town centre has been on the UNESCO list
of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage since
1992. C.K. is beautiful little tow, with labyrinth of
lanes and squares. The town has two national cultural
dominant features – the Chateau and the Gothic
Church of St. Vitus. In the Renaissance chateau -
former seta of powerful Houses of Rozumberk and
Schwarzenberk and after the Prague Castle the second
largest one in Bohemia, there are rich collections
of antique furniture, Flemish tapestries and
historical weapons.

Karlovy Vary
The
largest and the best-known Czech spa. The founding of
the towns has been linked with the name of Charles IV.
Since 1358 when he had hunting lodge built there. There
are 12 springs, the most famous of which is the Vridlo.

České Budejovice And Hluboka Chateau
Ceske Budejovice
is the centre of South Bohemia, a very attractive
tourist region characterized by numerous fishponds,
rich in artistic and historical monuments. The town,
founded in 1265, is famous for Budweiser beer, which
is produced by the Budvar Brewery, established in
1894. In 1832, the first railway in Europe began
operations between Ceske Budejovice and Linz in
Austria. Some of the old railway stations are still
preserved. The main square with arcades is the
biggest square in the Czech Republic. It is lined
with Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque houses. A
tower, designed in Gothic and Renaissance styles,
dominates the town. The typical ale-house Masne
kramy is also worth visiting. The town also offers
an annual music festival, as well as agricultural
exhibitions.
Hluboka chateau was built in the later half of the 13th century. Two centuries later, they gave the chateau the English-Tudor, Gothic-style face it wears today. It is hard to imagine more romantic chateau.

Karlstejn Castle And Krivoklat Castle
Karlstejn castle -
the most significant medieval castle, built in 1348-1355
under the rule of Charles IV for the purpose of
safekeeping the crown jewels and state documents. In the
16th century, it was reconstructed in the renaissance
style and altered in pseudo-Gothic style in the late
19th century. In Holy Rood chapel we can find a unique
collection of 132 Gothic tabular paintings by Master
Theodorik from 1360. The castle is situated 40km
south-west of Prague.
Krivoklat Castle - the royal castle Krivoklat is first mentioned around 1100, The present building is from the second half of the 13th century, it was enlarged and fortified at the end of 14th century and altered in Gothic style in the late 15th century. Thanks to all these renovation and alterations, all the phases of the Gothic style are present here. The castle is situated 50 km for Prague.

Konopiste Chateau
The Konopiště castle was
founded as a gothic fortress after model of french
castles in the end of the 13th century, probably by the
Prague´s bishop Tobiáš of Benešov. .The first
intervention to the medieval structure was made in the
end of the 15th century by Jiří of Šternberk than in the
beginning of the 17th century by the Hodějovští of
Hodějovice. The Vrtbovští of Vrtba changed Konopiště to
a baroque residence in the 18th century. The archduke
Franz Ferdinand who bought the chateau in 1887 from the
Lobkovičtí, reconstructed Konopiště to a magnificent
seat of the intending emperor. The chambres of the
chateau were equiped with the museum collections whose
basis come from an inheritance after the Modena´s duke.
At the area of the baroque garden The Rose garden with
hot house was built.

Kutna Hora
Thanks to the prosperous
silver mines, Kutna Hora became after Prague the second
most important town of the Kingdom of Bohemia on the
Middle ages. There are many unique Gothic monuments in
this town, especially St. Barbara’s Cathedral
(1388–1565), one of the most beautiful structures of the
Czech Gothic, then Italian Court with Royal mint, where
the famous Prague groschens were coined, Stone House,
Church of St. James, etc. At nearby Sedlec, it is
possible to visit the Ossuary. Kutna hora is on the
UNESCO list of World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
