Day 2: Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve
This morning you will transferred back to the airport for your flight to Botswana. Guests are met at the airport by a Wilderness Dawning Representative and are assisted in boarding a light aircraft to fly into Moremi Game Reserve, where they will meet their guide. After arrival, there is time to relax in camp until our afternoon activity. Visitors to this part of Moremi are surprised by the abundance and variety of wildlife in the area.
Day 3: Okavango Delta, Moremi Game Reserve
This morning we venture into the vast expanse of the Okavango Delta. After an interesting boat ride through crystal clear channels, we arrive on an island to conduct a guided bush walk - one of the most fascinating aspects of our safari. Lunch is served on a sand bank in the water. Guests can also cool off at our safe swimming area. After lunch and the final swim, the boa ride takes us back to our camp, adjacent to Xakanaxa lagoon. Sunset is spent watching scores of herons, egrets and storks coming to roost at the heronries.
Day 4, 5: North Gate, Moremi Game Reserve
We start our journey to Khwai from Xakanaxa by vehicle, game driving along the Khwai River flood plains to our camp near North Gate. We spend the next two nights camping in the area. Early morning and evening game drives deliver game viewing of the highest calibre. Animals are attracted to the area by the waters of the Khwai River and predators such as lion, leopard and wild dogs are often spotted there.
Day 6, 7: Savute - Chobe National Park
We travel by road via Mababe depression to Savute which is situated in South Western Chobe. The area's abundance of rocky hills and open, dry marshland makes stunning scenery. We spend two nights camping in Savute and by vehicle we search for the wildlife that has made this area famous. We visit the three man-made waterhole's in the area as well as the San bushman paintings hidden in the rocky outcrops.
Day 8, 9: Serondela - Chobe National Park
We spend two nights at Serondela and game drives are conducted along the Chobe river and adjacent teak forest. Serondela is elephant country and at certain times of the year the abundance of large game can sometimes be overwhelming. Game viewing by boat adds to the spectacular diversity of this area.
Day 10, 11: Victoria Falls
After a final game drive along the Chobe we once again head for Kazungula Border post via the small town of Kasane. We arrive at our hotel in Victoria Falls in time for lunch. Then it's time for relaxing or shopping in town. In the afternoon we visit one of the most breathtaking sights in the world - the mighty Victoria Falls (Guests own expense). An evening meal at a restaurant in town rounds off the day (Guests own expense). On our final morning we wake up at leisure and then, after breakfast, guests are transferred to the airport for connecting flights or onward arrangements.
