Highlights: Almora Hill Town Bazaar - Pithoragarh - Darchula -Narayan Swami Ashram - Darma Valley - Panch Chuli Massif
In this exciting trekking region of Kali, Kuti and Dhauli rivers, one not only walks along a large portion of the Mount Kailash - Manasarovar route, but also gets an exposure to the socio-cultural life of the people living in the Chaudans, Byans and Darma valleys. Dharchula is the base for a trek that takes one to Jolingkong, also called Chota Kailash and its small but beautiful lake called Parvati Tal. Depending on our permits, we reach the lake either via the Dhauli river valley route or over the Sinla Pass with its stunning views of the Chota Kailash and the Panch Chuli range from Gunji in the extreme north-east corner of the Kumaon Himalaya.
Innerline Permit from the District Magistrate, Dharchula is required!
