The

high Himalaya. We commense the trek from Solang, the Kullu Valley winter ski
resort. We camp at the beautiful Beas lake below the Tentu Pass, also known as
Solang Pass. Reaching the top of the pass, 4,996m, the highest point on the
trek, we enjoy the grand panaorama of Hanuman Tibba (5,930), Shikar Beh (6,200m)
and other high peaks in all directions. From here we descend down to the heart
of Pin Panchal before ascending the Manali pass, another nearly 5,000m crossing,
en route back to Manali.
